Terms of service
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms govern the use of the Ksar service (API for fake signup detection and promo offer protection, dashboard and related tools), published by [To be completed : owner name], sole trader trading as Ksar (SIRET [To be completed : SIRET]), hereinafter "Ksar".
1. Customers
The service is reserved for businesses (companies, freelancers, non-profits) using it for their professional activity. By creating an account, the customer declares acting as a professional.
2. Account and API keys
The customer creates an account with a valid, verified email address. The customer is responsible for keeping API keys confidential: they must only be used server-side. A compromised key must be revoked from the dashboard.
3. Plans, trial and prices
Plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise), quotas and prices are shown on the Pricing page. Prices exclude taxes. VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code (CGI).
On signup, the customer gets a 14-day trial of the Pro plan, with no credit card. At the end of the trial, the account automatically returns to the Free plan at no cost.
4. Payment and invoices
Paid subscriptions are paid by card through our payment provider, monthly or yearly, in advance. An invoice is issued for each payment and available in the dashboard. If a payment fails, the account returns to the Free plan after a 7-day grace period; API keys remain active within the Free plan limits.
5. Quotas
Beyond the monthly verification quota, the API returns a 429 error until the next period or a
plan change. Overage is never billed. The customer must program the integration to let signups
through in that case (see the documentation).
6. Plan changes and cancellation
Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period. The customer can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Amounts paid for the current period are not refunded.
7. Availability
Ksar uses reasonable efforts to keep the service available, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The customer must ensure that the signup form keeps working if the API is unavailable.
8. Analysis results
Scores and decisions returned by the API are decision aids based on technical signals. No detection is perfect: the customer remains solely responsible for decisions made from these results and for the rules it configures.
9. Acceptable use
The service must not be used to build email lists, send unsolicited messages, test addresses unrelated to a real signup flow of the customer, or harm the service (overload, bypassing limits, reverse engineering).
10. Personal data
For the email addresses analysed, Ksar acts as a processor for the customer, under the data processing agreement (DPA), which forms part of these terms. Addresses are never stored in clear text.
11. Liability
Ksar’s liability is limited to direct, proven damages and capped at the amount paid by the customer in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Ksar is not liable for indirect damages (loss of revenue, customers or data).
12. Changes to these terms
Ksar may change these terms. The customer is informed by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect and may cancel before that date.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute falls under the courts with jurisdiction over the publisher’s place of business.
